Projects & Training
One way of working.
Built around how you actually want to work.
We map how you operate, configure your technology to match and train every person to the same standard.

- 3,000+ users transitioned
- 2000+ processes mapped
- 14+ years experience transforming financial advice practice management

The problem
- Most firms have processes, just not always one consistent version everyone follows. New starters copy whoever trained them. Long serving staff do things their own way. The practice management ends up built around habits or workarounds, not best practice for the advice firm.
- That’s fine until the inconsistency becomes a real operational problem, often with several unnecessary steps built in. If the technology isn’t configured properly or staff aren’t trained, it adds complexity instead of removing it. Layer AI onto this and you are only automating your dysfunction.
What we do
- Process Mapping
- Technology transitions and reimplementations
- Configuration
- Training (on site, remote, recorded and guides)
- Floorwalking for go live
No matter how big or small the project, we can guide your firm through the process. It’s our role to use our expertise to help make this change a positive one for all concerned.
Key numbers
- 3,000+ users successfully transitioned
- 2,000+ processes mapped
- 14 years experience transforming practice management
- 300 years of combined team experience
- 400+ financial advice firms served
- Simplify complex processes (we often see process steps more than halved by identifying a better way forward)
Database assessment
We start with what’s true, not what’s assumed
Project engagements begin with a comprehensive database assessment; a structured review of your practice management system, evaluating its configuration, performance, strengths, and areas for improvement.
We discuss these findings with you, resulting in a clearly defined and prioritised action plan. Once agreed, this plan forms the foundation for the project. Aligning the action plan with your desired timeline, we develop a shared delivery roadmap so all stakeholders are aligned from the outset, providing clarity and focus throughout the implementation.
This can be complemented by a discovery workshop, bringing together representatives from across your business, including individuals directly involved in day-to-day operations, processes and technology. We capture a complete and accurate picture of how work is currently delivered and where change is needed.
The outcome is a clearly documented view of how your technology and processes operate today, created in collaboration with the people who use them. This fosters engagement, builds collective ownership, and ensures the organisation is aligned and invested in the future state.
Four common scenarios
No tech, first implementation
You have selected technology and need it to be implemented, configured and adopted across your team.
We manage the project from setup through to go-live and beyond: configuring workflows, building templates, training every user and then floor walking through the first days of go-live.
Existing tech, best practice
You’re using a fraction of what your chosen tech can do with clients unsegmented, workflows half-built and/or staff running their own versions of the process.
We assess what’s there, configure what’s missing and retrain your team to the level of adoption the system was designed for.
Merger or acquisition, one best way
Multiple firms, different practice management systems and approach.
We work with the combined business to define one best way of operating, then implement it across every team. The goal: a firm that works better than either business did alone, not one shaped by how it came together.
Old tech, new platform
Migrating from one practice management system to another, by choice or because your current platform’s being discontinued.
We manage the full transition, project plan, data migration, configuration, templates, training and go-live support. Over 3,000 users transitioned across migrations of every scale, including forced moves under deadline pressure.
What we deliver
-
Process mapping
Informal practices become a documented business with process manuals, clear accountability, measurable efficiency gains across every team
-
Practice Management configuration
Workflows, automations, review cycles and compliance prompts, built around your actual processes and not the default settings. We work across intelliflo office, Plannr, Curo and other platforms
-
Template design and build
Suitability reports, fact finds, valuation reports and client facing documents, integrated with your practice management so they pre-fill from existing data, cutting re-keying and the gap between a client meeting and a document landing in their inbox
-
Training
Delivered on-site, online or both, for advisers, administrators, paraplanners and compliance teams. Training guides and floor-walking support catch the questions that only come up once someone's doing the job for real
-
Embedding new tech
Go-live isn't the end. We stay through the embedding period, picking up exceptions, reinforcing training, making the adjustments only visible once the system's running live
What our clients say
Don’t take our word for it
It wasn’t just about saving time. The motivation was consistency. A more consistent way of working reduces reliance on individual approaches and supports much smoother collaboration.

FAQs
Timelines vary depending on the complexity of your existing setup, the size of your team and the scope of the project. Every engagement begins with a database assessment; a structured review of how your practice management system is currently configured, which produces a prioritised action plan and realistic project timeline. We stay through go-live and the embedding period, so you're not left to work it out once the vendor's team has left.
Pricing is throughput-based. Your fixed monthly fee is determined by your firm’s size, complexity and volume.
For example; when using our AI-powered income reconciliation agent (Eddie) in most cases, Eddie delivers a lower cost than managing the process manually in-house whilst doing more, faster and with greater accuracy.

Process mapping starts with understanding how your firm actually operates, not how you think it does. We bring your whole team together in a discovery workshop to map current reality and agree what needs to change. The output is two things most firms have never had: a documented picture of exactly how the business operates today and a team already invested in what's coming next. Cost depends on firm size and complexity. Contact us for a scoping conversation.
Jigsaw Tree has successfully transitioned over 3,000 users across practice management migrations of every scale and complexity, including forced migrations under deadline pressure. We manage the full transition: project management, data migration support, practice management configuration, template creation, training for every user and go-live floor-walking support. We stay through the embedding period until the new way of working is the normal way of working.
Practice management vendors implement their system. We map how your firm currently operates, configure the technology around the way you want to work, and train every person in your team and not just the system administrator. We work across intelliflo, Plannr, Curo and other platforms and our recommendations are always independent and based on evidence, not vendor preference. We have 14 years of proven delivery and 300 years of combined financial services experience across the team, working exclusively with financial advice firms.
